The Office: First and Last Appearances

Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away. For lo, the winter is passed. The rain is over and gone. The time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. Let me see your face. Let me hear your voice. For your voice is sweet, and your face is comely.

This is for you, Jim.

his face!

Wow I tried to prepare for that finale and I couldn’t handle it. My tear ducts “warmed up” during the entire The Office: Retrospective, but when I heard the theme song, I realized that that would be the last time I heard it…so the tears started and never stopped.  During every last scene of every character, I could see the actors themselves coming through with joy and love for the show. It’s not just a show, it’s not just a cast…I truly, truly, love and appreciate everything about The Office and this finale episode was…just right. Justice (Beaver) was served.
